The official specs. I attended Rocky Mountain School of Photography for photography career training. And I also received my Bachelor of Arts from Illinois State University. I love being a photographer!
I could live the rest of my life only wearing jeans. You'll see me in jeans for your engagement, Wedded Bliss, and portrait sessions, for our meetings and consultations, and if you run into me at the grocery store. If it's appropriate to wear jeans then I'm wearing them.
I'm excited to be someone's mama. I have always loved my first baby, my puppy dog, Penny. But in 2013 I'll have a bouncing baby to coo at and cuddle with! I will also be taking maternity leave in April and limited bookings in May.
You will never see me wearing uncomfortable shoes. I am almost always in either my boots or my tennis shoes. You will never, ever, see me in a movie theater wearing flip-flops. That thought just kind of freaks me out.
I love a good cake donut with sprinkles. But my favorite food is cheese. And I love Tex-Mex; don't get me started on the chips and salsa.
I rode my bike across Iowa; and other crazy stuff. I participated in RAGBRAI in 2003 and 2004 and hope I have the time to do it again some day. My ideal vacation is a four day backcountry hike in the mountains (with a shower and a comfortable bed waiting on the other side). I dabble in snowboarding, rock climbing, and sea kayaking.
My love story. I met my husband in 2004 through mutual friends. We met on a Thursday evening. We went on a bike ride Friday morning. I was invited to go out with Brett, his twin brother, and some friends that evening after work. Saturday night we watched a movie and talked almost all night. Sunday morning I knew he was the one. Yep, 3 days. Brett proposed 9 months later. I made him drive me to Walmart to buy wedding magazines in the middle of the night so I could start planning our wedding. 6 months later we were married. We had a relatively small wedding at a cute country chapel and a catered lunch buffet. We've been married for almost 8 years now and it's still just the begining of our adventures together!
