A little something going out in the mail very soon! I am just in love with this album, I can barely handle it!

We had a very special maternity session this weekend. Visiting both the Robert E. Lee Park in Uptown Dallas and the Klyde Warren Park in Downtown Dallas made for a beautiful session. This portrait shoot is so special to us because it’s my very own session. I brought along my trusty assistant photographer, a.k.a. my husband, to help with the photos. And I was art directing in every way I could to show the story and beauty of these two parks. So, here’s a little bit of me. Enjoy!

A little blog treat for you because I’ve been away for quite some time. It’s been busy around here setting up in Dallas and getting grounded. We’re excited to begin taking bookings! Here’s a sweet wedding with a bit of vintage that I assisted Gabe Aceves with this past fall. Enjoy!

We are excited to announce our photography studio in Dallas, Texas! It’s been a wonderful experience working with all our couples and families in Chicago and throughout Illinois. We are now looking forward to the prospect of working with even more great people here in Dallas. If you have any questions please let us know.
Our portrait bookings in Dallas will begin immediately for February and March. We are also excited to announce that we will be on maternity leave for the month of April and will begin taking limited portrait bookings in May. And we are so excited to begin taking wedding bookings in July!

Ed + Kara celebrated their love during a beautiful outdoor wedding ceremony in Washington Square Park; a beautiful Chicago historic landmark. I was able to photograph this wedding with my good friend Sarah Hanson. Right in the heart of all the hustle and bustle a wonderful couple exchanged their vows in front of friends and family. Kara was a true DIY bride crafting many elements of their wedding day by hand, even her groom put a ton of work into all the special touches. Following their ceremony they hosted a reception at the Newberry Library. And who doesn’t love a little doggy ring bearer and a horse and carriage ride? What a wonderful way to start their new lives together! Congrats to Kara + Ed!
